We prepare a proof

We check that the material and item are suitable, then prepare a layout for you to review. We'll also confirm pricing and production time.

You approve

You check spelling, dates, artwork, sizes and layout. You can request changes if you need them — this is the last stop before engraving.

We engrave & deliver

Once approved, we engrave your order, finish it and ship via UK delivery, or arrange Southport collection by prior agreement.

This form sends through Beamcraft's secure enquiry endpoint. Your quote request reference appears immediately on screen, and we reply to your email address during working hours. Files are not uploaded through this form; agree a safe transfer method separately.

Before engraving — Engraving is permanent. Natural materials vary in grain, colour and finish. Production only starts after you have approved the design proof.

Artwork and reference photographs: this form does not upload files. Please use our safe-sharing guidance to agree how to send your artwork. Final specifications and proof approval are confirmed by email.

Unbranded lighters are available in black anodised finish only. For genuine branded items, specify the brand/model and whether you will supply the item. Read our privacy notice before sending personal information.

Local pickup/collection: FREE. Southport local delivery up to 3 miles: £5. UK postal delivery: postage calculated separately after engraving wording/address details are supplied, and agreed before confirmation.

FREE TAG launch promotion rules

FREE dog, cat/pet, army-style or equivalent small metal identification tag, or a small metal memorial plate/tag with fixing holes suitable for attaching to a memorial item such as a wooden cross. This does not include normal BeamCraft plaques or large custom plaques.

UK redemption only. 4K TEXT ONLY engraving. Maximum two sides where the item supports it. One item and one successful use per unique code. Valid for 7 days from issue. Maximum 100 successful FREE TAG redemptions, separate from the 100th-visitor prize.

Not included: keyrings, large plaques, coins, lighters, photos, images, portraits, logos, artwork, graphic designs, QR designs or 3D relief.

Checking or applying a code, leaving the website or submitting an enquiry does not redeem it. It remains available until its expiry unless the campaign reaches 100 redemptions. BeamCraft redeems it only after you confirm the qualifying free-item order.

Delivery/postage is charged separately. Collection is free. No cash/credit alternative. Statutory rights unaffected.

Common custom-order questions

How does the custom order process work?

1) You tell us your idea, product type, wording and any artwork. 2) We check the material/item suitability and prepare a layout proof with pricing. 3) You review, request any changes, then approve. 4) We engrave your commission and ship, or arrange Southport collection.

Do you engrave before I've approved the proof?

No. Permanent engraving means proofing matters. We never engrave a permanent, personalised or custom item until the proof has been confirmed by the customer.

Can you engrave items I supply myself?

Often yes. Use the enquiry form to describe the item, material and size. We'll confirm whether it's suitable and explain the next steps, including any customer-supplied-item policy and risks.

What artwork formats do you accept?

We accept common image formats (PNG, JPG), PDFs and vector artwork where available (SVG, AI, EPS). For photos we'll confirm suitability and resolution as part of the proof.

How do I pay for a custom order?

For bespoke work, pricing and payment arrangements are confirmed with your written quote after suitability and proof checks. For listed products and supported configurations, shop online with secure Square hosted checkout.

Can I collect from Southport?

Yes — collection is available by prior arrangement. Exact collection details are supplied privately once your order is ready.
